Kyoto, Japan, Dec. 15th, 2024 — Questetra, Inc., the global SaaS provider of Business Process Management (BPM), today announced the publication of the new version 16.2 of the No-Code development platform Questetra BPM Suite. In this new version 16.2, a new String-type Data Item, Markdown, is added.

Markdown is a lightweight markup language that lets you easily format text (like bold or italic) and structure layouts (like bullet points or links) using simple syntax. It’s supported by many cloud tools, including Google Docs and WordPress, and is widely used across various fields today.

In the new version 16.2, business users can input text using Markdown syntax, which will automatically be rendered into a document display of visually appealing format during the later stages.

For example, telecommunications companies can improve operational efficiency when creating outage information for publication on their websites. During the drafting process, details such as the cause of the outage, affected areas, and the date and time of occurrence can be organized using bullet points and bold text. The Markdown text created is displayed in an easy-to-read format for approvers. This allows approvers to review the information in a well-structured manner, enabling quick and accurate approvals without misunderstandings.

What is Questetra BPM Suite

Questetra BPM Suite is a cloud-based business process management system (SaaS BPMS). You can develop and operate workflow systems (Workflow Apps) entirely through a web browser, without needing programming knowledge (coding skills). This allows business departments to lead continuous process improvements.

You can systematize various day-to-day operations such as approval flows, quotation submission processes, and inquiry handling. Advanced automation, such as “Requesting AI to draft a document” or “Saving files to Google Drive,” can also be implemented in No-Code.

Task Operating Screen Decoration: Markdown Supported

You can now decorate (add descriptions to) the Task Operating screen using Markdown syntax. (Eligible Editions: Basic, Advanced, Professional)

File Upload to Google Drive: Convert to Google Workspace Files

In the automated Step for uploading files to a specified folder in Google Drive, files can now be converted into “Google Workspace files” (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) during the upload.

Open Chat: Carousel Display for Multiple Attachments

The in-house social networking feature, Open Chat, now supports viewing multiple attached images in a carousel format, allowing users to switch between them horizontally. Additionally, it now supports “thumbnail display for video files” and “preview playback for video files.” (Eligible Editions: Basic, Advanced, Professional)
