Changes in the Handling of Consumption Tax due to the Tax Code Revision
We will charge the consumption tax to your bill, starting January 1, 2016.
Questetra, Inc. is announcing that we will enforce the charge of consumption tax to the price of our Cloud-service, “Questetra BPM Suite”, and others.
Because of the Tax code revision of 2015, “Revision of Consumption Taxation on Cross-border Supplies of Service” enforced from October 1, 2015, Cloud-Services of companies including US corporations are now taxed.
Until today, Questetra determined to bear the consumption tax equivalent, considering that many Cloud-services are not taxed, and in many cases the costs are foreign services. However, we are forced to add the consumption tax to your bill in Japan, starting January 1, 2016, due to the tax code revision and the increase of cost.
We would greatly appreciate your understanding.
It should be noted that, with respect to long-term contract which you have paid for already, there will be no additional charges. Also, as for the licenses purchased from our sales-partners, please contact them directly for more details.
